Art Smart fuels school-wide creativity by providing the necessary support and supplies for class paced, holiday ornament projects as well as financial support for additional spring art projects. Volunteers may be needed in the classroom during such projects.

At Book Fair, students can purchase books through Scholastic. During the week of book fair, we offer various events for family and friends to accompany their students and shop.

The CES PTO purchases a book for every child enrolled at CES. Help encourage their love for reading by helping with this fun project!

CES PTO receives money from the scanning of box tops from various grocery and household items. Download the app to start submitting your receipts!

Field Day is held at the end of school as a reward for all CES students for their hard work throughout the year. This day is filled with games, races, snacks, and fun. This event is executed by parent volunteers. This project requires many volunteers!

Popcorn Friday is a fun way we reward the students at the end of each nine weeks. Volunteers pop, bag, and deliver bags of popcorn to each classroom on the Friday morning after report cards are issued. It requires at least 10 volunteers and takes around 3 hours to complete. Any amount of time you can give helps!

The Spring Raffle is the largest fundraiser PTO produces. Students will have the opportunity to sell raffle tickets for a couple of weeks. Classes and grades will compete for the most sold. Volunteers are needed to sort tickets and help with reward parties.

Summer reading logs are turned in and reviewed in August. Participants go to the public library for a party and winners are rewarded in each grade. Reading Counts is a Scholastic program done online at school under the supervision of Mrs. McGrath. She tracks their progress and rewards are given periodically for growth and achievement. Volunteers are needed to help with summer reading parties only.

CES PTO recognizes or rewards our teachers and staff in some way. There are many ways to help. Watch social media and be in touch with your grade-level chair to help with these events.

The CES yearbook is a keepsake all students cherish. All parents are encouraged to upload pictures that are taken on school property to Balfour’s ImageShare app. After you download the app, the project number is 316163. Yearbooks are sold twice a year and distributed upon delivery. Candid photos taken at school functions can be emailed to the PTO email address for submission or uploaded to the ImageShare app.
